This post is an #AD from Hasbro. Thanks for supporting the brands that support Kozy & Co.
Easter is only a few days away, and I don’t know about you guys, but I’m always on the lookout for fun new items to fill my kid’s baskets. I have my usual go-to’s every year, but then I like to spice things up a little with something exciting that my kids can play with and enjoy on Easter and beyond. As my children get older, it’s more about including toys they’ll really love and that they’ll make memories with.
Hasbro is a brand that we have loved for years. They make so many great toys for all ages and personalities. Today I’m rounding up some great Hasbro toys that my kids love, and that I think would be amazing to include in your kid’s Easter baskets this year!
My Little Pony Smashin’ Fashion Rainbow Dash and Sunset Shimmer
I adored My Little Pony figures when I was a kid, and I love that they’re around today for Ella to love too. These Smashin’ Fashion versions are so fun! The 3-inch tall poseable pony figures can stand on 2 legs or 4, and come with lots of great fashion accessories that your kids can mix and match. Rainbow Dash, Ella’s personal favorite, comes with 7 sporty-inspired accessories like roller skate shoes, a belt bag, a visor, and two overall dresses. Sunset Shimmer comes with 7 accessories of her own, ranging from a guitar, boots, sunglasses and more. The best part though, is that both dolls include a Smashin’ surprise! If your kids are into surprise toys like mine are, then they will love this! Each doll includes a Smashin’ Pack that your child can place on a flat surface, smash, and watch expand… soon after the pack will pop revealing a character-inspired fashion accessory and a friendship balloon. It’s super fun!
My Little Pony Smashin’ Fashion Dolls are available at most major toy retailers nationwide.
PLAY-DOH Kitchen Creations Grill ‘N Stamp Playset
I don’t think there’s a kid out there who doesn’t love PLAY-DOH compound! Theo was SO excited about this PLAY-DOH grill set that brings the fun of a family cookout to life. This one is great for kids ages 3 and up, and they can use it to make their own pretend burgers, PLAY-DOH hot dogs, make believe chicken wings and more. The grill even stamps grill marks onto the creations to make it look like it was really grilled (don’t worry, you can still reuse the PLAY-DOH compound even after it has been stamped with ink)! With 6 containers of modeling compound, a built-in ink pad, a cutting board book-mold, a kabob skewer, 2 plates, a spatula, a knife and fork, this toy will provide your kids with hours of imaginative play.
The PLAY-DOH Kitchen Creations Grill ‘N Stamp Playset is available at most major toy retailers nationwide.
Baby Alive Sunshine Snacks Baby
Both of my girls enjoy playing with dolls, and Baby Alive Dolls are their favorite! This Sunshine Snacks Baby is the first Baby Alive doll to feature both feeding and water play! The doll comes with reusable solid doll food, a popsicle mold, and utensils so that your child can pretend to feed it. Then she has a click-change diaper flap that your child can pop open, empty, and start all over again. The Sunshine Snack doll also includes a super cute removable swimsuit top and sarong, sunglasses, and sandals, so once she’s done snacking she’s totally ready for water play!
Baby Alive Sunshine Snacks Baby is also available at most major retailers.
Max is almost 9, and getting to the age where it’s getting tougher to find toys that he enjoys. This Foosketball Game from Hasbro however, was right up his alley since he loves anything to do with sports. This fast-paced 2-player game combines basketball and foosball for a competition that requires both skill and patience. The two foosketball figures, controlled by handles, shoot balls in hoops on opposite ends of the court. Each orange ball is worth 1 point, and the gold ball is worth 2. The first player to 5 wins!
Foosketball is available at most major retailers.
Ella loves anything to do with animals, and if you have a child who does too, then they will go crazy over this toy! Flitter the Kitten has color changing eyes that reveal its different moods. When she’s sleepy, her eyes are blue. Green means she’s hungry, red means cranky, and yellow tells you she’s happy. Flitter also has gorgeous fabric wings and lights and sounds that can be activated by either feeding her a treat or by pressing the button on her back. These FurReal pets are truly magical and your child won’t want to put it down!
FurReal Flitter the Kitten and her friend Airina the Unicorn are both available at most major retailers.
I hope these toys gave you guys some new and exciting ideas for your kid’s Easter baskets this year! What’s one thing you always include in your baskets?
