My blog posts have been a bit sporadic since COVID hit, and our world got flipped upside down. Like many of you, I am juggling a whole lot of balls right now, and I guess it goes without saying, that occasionally one of those balls will drop. With so much going on here at home, it’s been pretty hard to get much of anything done, and that includes sitting down to write and share with you all.
Last week I really hit a wall. I was starting to feel like I was going crazy being cooped up in our house five days a week with four kids. At the moment, Max and Ella are still doing remote learning, so life pretty much revolves around their schedules. I generally have a hard time asking for help when I need it, but I was pretty desperate, so I decided to have a sitter come so that I could sneak out for a couple of hours. This was last Thursday, and it was 120 minutes of pure Heaven. As soon as I left the house I wondered why I hadn’t thought to do this sooner. Today I got to sneak away again, and my car lead me straight to Old Navy. They’re having a 30% off sale right now (40% for ON card holders), and I was in need of some Fall clothes. Since I was kid-free for once, I decided to actually try some stuff on, and I was really impressed with how cute some of their stuff is right now, so I wanted to do a little round-up and share my finds with you all. Old Navy offers curb-side pick up, so you can order online and pick your items up if you don’t feel comfortable going into a store. I will say that braving the fitting rooms while wearing a mask was a bit of a workout!
This was my favorite outfit of the day. I wasn’t sure how I felt about flare jeans being back in style, but as soon as I put these ones on I remembered how much I use to love them. These ones are super flattering. I also loved the style of this cami paired with a cardigan for fall.
Joggers will continue to be a go-to for me since most days I’m just hanging at home. I really liked the color and material of these ones, and they were super comfortable. I also love a good thermal, so I grabbed this one in white. I sized up for a looser fit.
So this is actually a nightgown, but I loved it, and it was super cozy. I threw a belt around the waist, and I swear, no one will be able to tell that this is sleepwear!
This coat didn’t come home with me today, but live for sherpa and fleece coats this time of year. I’ve had my eye on a few different ones, and just haven’t committed to which one I want yet.
I’ve linked all of my current favorite ON finds below!
