This post is sponsored by Tuesday Morning. As always all of the thoughts and opinions expressed here are 100% my own.
Ever since we moved into our new house a few months ago, I have been on the hunt for the perfect pieces of decor to really make our house feel like a home. My biggest goal for this house is for it to be an inviting and cozy place filled with beautiful things, but as you can probably imagine, in a house with three young kids (and a fourth on the way), I don’t like to drop a ton of money or buy anything that is too fancy. Occasionally I like to splurge, but I also love the thrill of finding budget-friendly pieces that look like they cost a lot more than they do. There is something so rewarding about having someone tell you that they love a piece of your decor, and secretly knowing that you got it for a steal. I firmly believe that you can have a beautiful home without having to break the bank.
We still have a ton of work to do on our house, but things are starting to come along. Our family room has been an ongoing project since we moved in, as we prepare to rip up the existing carpet, and lay hardwoods, but it’s the room that we spend the most time in, so I wasted no time in searching for the perfect items to put the finishing touch on the room. I can’t wait to show you guys the total package when it’s completed, but for now I couldn’t wait to share this vignette with you all, since it is, and will be one of the focal points of the room. I found the so many great pieces to complete this space at Tuesday Morning, and I was blown away by their amazingly low prices. From the perfect throw pillows for $12.99, to faux florals for just a few dollars a stem, to the softest throw blanket around for under $20.00. From candle holders, to a great vintage-inspired tray, to my favorite white porcelain pitchers (that coincidentally, I collect) I couldn’t fill my cart up fast enough. I was so inspired by what they had in store, that while I shopped for this space, the wheels were already turning on finishing touch pieces for other rooms in our house. I have wanted a pouf forever, and this knit one that I found was a total steal. I stocked up on pillar candles while I was there too, because it always seems that I can’t have enough, and their prices were too good to pass up. When I finally get to update/decorate our bathrooms and bedrooms, I definitely know where I am going, because they just had so much good stuff. In addition to their endless stock of kitchen items, Tuesday Morning also carries rugs, furniture, toys for your kids, and great holiday decor all at incredible prices.
Because you all know that I’m a total sucker for holiday decor, I just had to show you guys the awesome holiday pieced that I snagged at Tuesday Morning too. Recognize that Christmas Tree crate from the photos above? I love it when an item can serve two purposes. When it’s not Christmas, I’ll just turn it around and use it year-round. I was instantly swooning over the mirror glass Christmas trees (they might just stay up all winter long), and I couldn’t get over how cute the happy holidays sign was with the little truck on it. It might be a little early to decorate for Christmas, but I just couldn’t wait to deck the halls with all of this great stuff.
Having a beautiful home doesn’t have to cost a fortune, so be sure to check out your local Tuesday Morning store for the perfect pieces for your own home at a fraction of the price!

Thank you! I couldn’t pass the metal vase up! Such a good deal!
You did a wonderful job on a budget. The best part is that your decor looks very elegant and expensive.
You’ve decorated your house so well! Loved this mini tour 🙂
