{diaper bag c/o Storksak}
It happens every year. I tell myself that I’m going to start early, that I’m going to be on top of things, that I won’t wait until the last minute. Then somehow, without me even realizing it, the week leading up to Christmas arrives, and total chaos ensues. Between the school parties, and pageants, our schedule is just crazy! Yesterday, in an effort to get some of my last minute shopping done, I headed downtown with my boys.
Naturally, our first stop was Starbucks, because this mama needed a caramel brûlée latte to keep me going. A cake pop was in order for Max, because as every seasoned mom knows, bribery is key in situations where you need your child to cooperate! After we fueled up, it was time to hit the stores!
You guys know that I always love to share with you, my latest favorite finds in terms of mom/baby gear, so I just have to tell you about my new diaper bag from Storksak. As you can probably imagine, by now, I have owned my fair share of diaper bags, but this one… it’s a total game changer. If you aren’t familiar with them, Storksak is a company that makes luxury products for parents, and they never sacrifice style for function when it comes to their bags!
Shopping with two kids (usually three) is no easy task, but the features included in the Eden diaper bag from Storksak honestly make my life (and yesterday’s morning full of shopping) easier! My favorite feature? The patented stroller straps! I am notorious for throwing my bag over the back of our stroller, and more often than not it ends up dragging along, bumping off of our stroller’s tires. When you live in a cold and snowy location (read slushy and yucky), it leads to total diaper bag distruction, but thanks to this genius feature on the Eden, I was able to easily hang my bag high above our dirty stroller tires! Problem solved.
Another awesome feature? Seeing as Theo can’t partake in the joy that Starbucks has to offer just yet, I had to bring along a bottle for him. The Eden actually has an insulated pocket just for storing bottles! How cool is that? Above and beyond all of these great attributes, this Storksak bag is seriously gorgeous. The leather used to make it is buttery soft, and it’s generous in size with lots of pockets and pouches… which is something I really appreciated yesterday as I continued to pile small gifts into it.
If you’re wondering, we managed to get a good bit of our shopping completed with only one minor meltdown, but our to do list is still lengthy. There’s lots of wrapping left to do, grocery shopping is on the agenda, and our house still needs tidied up before my sister and her husband arrive tonight.One thing is for certain though, this boozy hot chocolate is definitely going down ASAP! Are you ready for the big day? Or still running around crazy like I am?
