It’s official. According to the calendar it is now fall. Recently, Max headed back to school, and Ella is now attending her first year. The change of season, along with the fact that they are both growing like weeds, called for new clothing, backpacks, and of course, shoes. Despite the fact that he is not heading off to school anytime soon, naturally, this meant new shoes for Theo as well.
Shoe shopping for three kids can be tough. Particularly when you are trying to find shoes that are both stylish and good quality. Add in the fact that my kids are in different stages in terms of what they need in a shoe, and it could equate in a whole lot of frustration over trying to find the perfect pair for each of them.
When it comes to shopping for shoes for my kids, I always look for a couple of things… styles that fit well and are built to last, so that we get our money’s worth are what’s most important in my book. For my kids, it’s all about comfort and looking cool.
This my friends, is why I love pediped shoes. Pediped is a line of children’s shoes that was designed by parents who wanted to create the perfect shoe for their children. After putting in a lot of time and research, they came up with one of the fastest growing children’s footwear brands in the U.S. One of my favorite things about Pediped… they have this great footwear system for each age and stage of your child’s growth and development.
Theo wears the Originals®. They are for infants and toddlers ages 0-24 months of age. and are recommended by pediatricians and podiatrists because they allow children to closely mimic barefoot walking. They are made of the highest quality leather available, and have a soft foam insert in between the layers of leather.
Ella, who is two, wears Pediped’s Grip n’ Goâ„¢ style. These are designed for kids who wear sizes 4-7, and feature a special G2 technology, that includes a soft rubber soul, and rounded edges that mimic the shape of a child’s foot. Max, who is four, wears Pediped’s Flex® style (sizes 6 kids-6 youth). This style is perfect for confident walkers who have developed a solid natural stride.
pediped shoes are award-winning, and come in over 130 styles… Their fall/winter collection offered a ton of options and color choices when it came time to choose designs for our “back to school” shoes. Their styles range from casual to dressy, and all of them are both fashionable and functional.
Above and beyond the fact that I love pediped’s footwear system, my kids really and truly love these shoes. Whether it be because they are super comfortable, because they love the styles, or because they can put them on themselves, whenever we are getting ready to head out the door and I ask my two oldest to go and get their shoes on, both of them always choose their pediped shoes, hands down. The other day as we made our way through the grocery store, Max and Ella even proudly showed off their new shoes to anyone and everyone we saw. I consider it a huge parenting win when my kids get excited about something that I love for the thought and technology that went into making them.
Now that we have gotten school shoe shopping out of the way, I’ve begun browsing the line for some great shoes to get us through the holiday season too.
pediped® are sold in over 750 stores in the United States and in 40 countries worldwide. You can check out pediped’s amazing styles, and read more about the great technology that goes into making there shoes here on their website, and find them on Facebook and Instagram. These are cute! I love that they have a soft sole option for younger babies. I’ve definitely seen the difference in the way my son walks when in soft soles vs hard soles.
